Automated Patient Intake

Gracewell was receiving critical medical orders via fax. Yes, fax. Staff had to manually type patient names, insurance IDs, and diagnosis codes into three different legacy systems. Typing errors were rampant. Insurance claims were being rejected because of 'bad data'. Patients were waiting days for essential equipment.

We digitized the fax machine. We built an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) pipeline that intercepts the fax, reads the pixels, and converts them to data. Automated validation of insurance eligibility via API. Auto-population of the ERP system. Human-in-the-loop validation only for low-confidence scans.
